Each year, the anniversary of the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, which is celebrated on 11 February, the Church proposes for the World Day of the Sick. That fact, as he wanted the venerable Pope John Paul II, becomes a favorable opportunity to reflect on the mystery of suffering and, above all, to make it more responsive to our community and civil society to those who are and sisters who are sick. If every man is our brother, the more the weak, the suffering and in need of care must be the focus of our attention, because none of them feel forgotten or marginalized, because "the measure of humanity is essentially determined in relationship with suffering and the sufferer.
