So where some hatred towards foreigners come and how strong are Romanian stereotypes.
On August 23, Andra Larisa Budis, daughter of a Romanian couple settled near Venice, died of a heart attack. He was only four years. Friends and acquaintances have made a parcel and parents managed to raise 6,000 euros required to return the body to the U.S., place of origin of the family.
But on the night of August 27 even in the funeral day, all money collected were stolen from the family home Budis.
Local media reported so extensively about the girl's death, and about stealing money for the funeral.
Many readers have left comments in the online edition who accuse it of stealing money on the girl's parents. Here's an example: "Venetians do not like something, even the Romans were the authors of theft" or "do not believe in the story of the theft, I know the Romans."
